About the designer
With over 15 years of real-world interior design experience in a variety of specialties, Shannon is uniquely qualified to help her clients navigate deftly through projects--from decorating to gut remodels and ground-up construction. Her in-depth design knowledge saves her clients time, headaches, and money by avoiding the kind of costly design mistakes too many home- and business owners make too often. The end result? These professionally designed spaces enhance the experience, value and eventual resale of the properties on which she works.
Working with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and design enthusiasts throughout Seattle and south Snohomish County, Shannon Adamson Interior Design is a full-service design firm, offering services from initial space planning, finishes, and furniture selections through project management and turnkey installation. Equally adept at both residential and commercial projects, Shannon has honed her design skills on multiple residential renovations, several boutique resorts, and dozens of restaurants. Shannon's design career began 15 years ago with an internship at the venerable Scottish firm of Whytock & Reid in Edinburgh. Here she learned from a talented interior design team as well as master cabinetmakers, upholsterers, and seamstresses. Seeing these artists craft one-of-a-kind pieces instilled a deep love for local, custom design, something Shannon strives to include in her clients' designs every day. Working with Shannon Adamson Interior Design gains her clients access to a skilled and dedicated team of experts, including local craftspeople, quality installers, furniture manufacturers, drapery workrooms, and tradespeople who skillfully bring her clients' design to life.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Utah State University, and is a member of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers (NWSID). She lives in Meadowdale, Washington with her husband, two young sons, and their Anatolian Shepherd, Roman.
