I was thrilled when our clients reached out to me about designing a second project with them— a full-scale remodel of their new “forever home”. The 1980s house had a good overall floor plan, but needed adjustments throughout to make the house work for their young family.
Reconfiguring the kitchen, adding a walk-in pantry, converting an unused sitting room into a formal dining room, and creating a wet bar were among their must-have items. In addition, close attention was paid to important areas like the laundry room, to make sure we were optimizing every square foot of the space to work hard.
Practical and durable finishes were combined with playful pattern, resulting in a family home that is timeless, comfortable, and highly functional
A home tour of the project is featured on Sunset magazine’s website.
