With the noise and energy that comes with raising three children, creating a welcoming, comfortable and cozy environment was paramount for our clients who remodeled their longtime family home. Soft nature-inspired colors, warm woods, woven textures, and matte finishes were employed to create a calming backdrop to busy family life.

In addition to the feel of the home, everything from the built-ins to each child's bedroom furniture was designed with family life in mind. Outlets for laptops and phones at the kitchen banquette, a dedicated snack pantry, and a purpose-built charging drawer for bedtime cell phone check-in were at the top of our clients' wishlist.

Another key element of the project was transforming the spacious backyard to the ultimate outdoor entertaining space-- complete with an outdoor kitchen, plenty of room for family and friends to lounge, and an outdoor fireplace (as well as sport court and turf field.)

The end result is a home that feels welcoming and communal, tailor made for our clients' life.
